Fábrica Coffee Roasters
Centro · Cascais · Steep Index 8.1/10

A shaded outdoor cafe in central Cascais, ideal for solo reading and people-watching, though the service needs work.
The Steep Index
Solo-Friendliness leads, a genuine spot to sit with a book and let the morning pass, shaded outdoor seating included. Atmosphere and Staying Power both follow close, the location alone earns a long sit. Value is the one axis that gives, service was slow and not especially warm on this visit, and there's no wifi if you were hoping to work.
- Coffee / Drink Quality: 8.0/10
- Atmosphere: 8.6/10

- Value: 7.0/10
- Staying Power: 8.3/10
- Overall: 8.1/10
Perfect for: reading, people watching
The Space
The outdoor seating is shaded and genuinely pleasant, in one of Cascais's more upscale central stretches near the train station. A good spot to settle in with a book or just watch the morning go by.
The Coffee
The cortado and the latte were both pretty good, and the breakfast selection is a nice pairing with either. Nothing here is trying to be remarkable, it's solid, dependable coffee for a slow morning.
Come to read, not to work, there's no wifi here anyway. The coffee is good. The wait for it was not.
The Vibe
This is a chillax spot, not a work one, there's no wifi and it isn't trying to be that kind of cafe. Service was slow and not especially warm on this visit, the one real knock against an otherwise easy morning.
The Verdict
Come to read, people-watch, and let breakfast take a while. Just don't expect the service to match the setting, and don't come with a laptop.
