A genuinely beautiful room on the corner of Ebury and Elizabeth Street, cozy rather than showy inside and out. The kind of Belgravia coffee house that photographs well and still feels like somewhere you would actually want to sit.
The Coffee
The coffee itself is properly good, and pairing the latte with the pancakes off the seasonal menu is the move. The wider menu rotates through the seasons rather than sitting still, which is more than most neighbourhood coffee houses bother to do.
The latte and the pancakes were the easiest order of the day. Getting them to the table was the hard part.
The Vibe
Solo works well here on a quiet visit, but this is a genuinely busy Belgravia address and the service does not always keep pace with it. On a full house, expect a longer wait than the menu suggests, and double check your order lands as ordered.
