The coffee is the soft spot: an under-extracted latte that kept this out of Steep Pick territory. - Coffee / Drink Quality: 6.8/10 - Atmosphere: 9.4/10 - Solo-Friendliness: 8.9/10 - Value: 7.6/10 - Staying Power: 8.3/10 - Overall: 8.2/10 Perfect for: reading, people watching, slow weekend, impressing someone ## The Space The room is bright with a few tables inside, but the real seating is outside, where plenty of chairs face the beach. It sits inside SkyBeach Resort, so the walk to your table comes with a view of the water. ## The Coffee The chocolate muffin was incredibly moist and properly delicious. The latte, made with a medium roast Peru, tasted under-extracted and watered down, a letdown next to the pastry. The breakfast menu looks strong, and the plan is to come back and give the coffee a second try. > Come for the view. Order the muffin. Give the coffee a second chance. ## The Vibe Staff greeted us with a real smile and the kind of warmth you remember. It is a good place to sit alone with a book, and just as good for watching the beach go by. ## The Verdict The atmosphere is close to perfect and the food is better than the coffee. It would have scored higher with a stronger cup.
