The Space
Cafe Regatta occupies a small red cottage right on the Töölönlahti waterfront, a short walk from Sibelius Park, with a rustic, romantic interior that feels like nowhere else in Helsinki. It is genuinely small, more intimate than spacious, and the lakeside setting does most of the work before you have even ordered.
The Coffee
The coffee here is filter only, no espresso menu to speak of, and it is simply good, brewed without pretense and served without ceremony. The cinnamon rolls are the real draw, scrumptious and clearly baked in-house, worth ordering before you have even sat down.
