The Space
A converted garage in Bonfim with a long counter, exposed concrete, and the roasting setup visible from your seat. The light and the noise level are both exactly right.
The Coffee
Both the espresso and the filter are roasted in-house and served with the kind of quiet confidence that comes from doing it well for a long time. The house blend holds up across brew methods; the rotating single-origins reward you for asking what's on.
The espresso is the kind you think about on the walk back to your accommodation, and then order again the next morning.
The Vibe
Neighbourhood regulars at the counter, remote workers at the tables, staff who are genuinely friendly without performing it. The sandwiches are better than you expect and the pace is unhurried.
The Verdict
One of the best cafes in Porto and an easy favourite if you find yourself anywhere near Bonfim. Go once for the coffee, go back for the sandwiches.
