Start with KAEru's frog-filled room, dozens of figurines collected over the years, self-roasted beans behind the counter. The coffee did not land for us on our own visit, worth trying again for yourself.

A short walk south to GOODMAN ROASTER KYOTO, a Steep Pick and the strongest coffee of the three, well-extracted drinks and a wide bean selection in a small, welcoming room.

Ebisugawa
Finish at Kurasu Ebisugawa, a genuinely distinctive home-brew gear showcase rather than an espresso bar. The coffee is excellent. Go in with patience for the service.
