This is the cafe to bring the kids to. The room is bright and the staff are warm, there is seating at the front and the back, and the chai latte was pretty decent. It gets crowded at weekends.

The Space
A bright, cozy room with seating at the front and the back, plus a backyard patio. It has a dedicated play area for children, which is rare in a cafe.
The Coffee
The cinnamon buns that made The Hive popular had sold out by Saturday afternoon, so I had the chai latte instead, which was pretty decent. Go early on a weekend if you want a bun.
Next time, the cinnamon buns.
The Vibe
Warm staff and a family crowd. It gets busy on weekends.
The Verdict
Bring the kids, and get there in the morning at the weekend for a bun and a table. I will be back for the cinnamon buns.
