Cafes and bars in Uehara, Tokyo
A quiet residential corner of Shibuya a few minutes from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, and a genuinely varied one for its size. A single-origin decaf specialist pours into wine glasses on one corner, a cafe-bar with an all-day cocktail list holds down another, and one of Minimal's five Tokyo bean-to-bar shops does nothing but gateau chocolat a few doors on. None of them are trying to be the same kind of stop, which is rather the point of this pocket of Uehara.

A stylish cafe-bar inside Uehara's CABO complex, a couple of minutes from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, with finger foods and cocktails available throughout the day alongside its coffee menu. The room and the terrace both deliver. The coffee program, tonic included, still hasn't.
