A stylish cafe-bar inside Uehara's CABO complex, a couple of minutes from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, with finger foods and cocktails available throughout the day alongside its coffee menu. The room and the terrace both deliver. The coffee program, tonic included, still hasn't.
The Steep Index
Atmosphere leads clearly, a genuinely stylish room with a real terrace, especially good once the weather cools into autumn. Staying Power follows close behind, an easy place to settle into across the day, from morning coffee through evening cocktails. Coffee is the deliberate low point: on a repeat visit the espresso tonic, previously the one order that worked, also came through under-extracted, so there is currently no coffee order here to point toward with confidence. The cocktail list, curated by bartender Soran Nomura (ex-SG Club, Fuglen Tokyo, Ao Bar), remains untasted by us but reads deep on the menu. Solo-Friendliness and Value both sit in the middle, neither a strength nor a letdown.

The Space
No. sits on the ground floor of CABO uehara, a stylish, timber-slatted space a couple of minutes from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, with finger foods and cocktails available throughout the day alongside its coffee menu. There is a small terrace out front, especially nice once the weather cools into autumn. It draws a real mix of locals and tourists and gets genuinely crowded on weekends.
The Pour
Neither the espresso nor the espresso tonic impressed on a repeat visit, both came through under-extracted, so there is no coffee order here to recommend with confidence right now. The cocktail list is extensive, curated by bartender Soran Nomura (ex-SG Club, Fuglen Tokyo, Ao Bar), though we have not worked through it ourselves yet.
The room and the terrace do the work here. The coffee program, tonic included, still doesn't.
The Vibe
The room does a lot of the work, stylish without trying too hard, and it fills up fast on a busy day. Coffee by morning, cocktails and finger foods running through the rest of the day, which explains part of why it draws such a crowd.
The Verdict
Come for the room and the terrace, both genuinely good, especially as the weather cools. The coffee program has not landed on either visit, tonic included. If you are here for a drink, the cocktail list looks like the safer bet, we just have not tried it yet ourselves.
