UNI COFFEE ROASTERY sits on the ground floor of Building 1 in Yokohama's Red Brick Warehouse, one of ten-plus branches from the Yokohama-born chain. It's a popular stop, and it shows, locals and tourists both keep the room busy.
The Coffee
The menu runs wide, plenty of beverages and food beyond just coffee. The cold brew itself was the letdown, understeeped and short on character, missing the acidity that makes a cold brew worth ordering.
The cold brew was nothing to write home about. Understeeped, no real character, and it lacked even the minimal acidity a cold brew should carry.
The Vibe
The building does a lot of the work here, a genuine landmark with real foot traffic from both residents and visitors. That popularity comes at a cost, it gets crowded enough that a quiet solo sit isn't really the point.
The Verdict
Worth a stop for the setting and the wide menu, less so for the cold brew specifically. Order something else, and go in expecting company.
