The Space
The room at Calle de los Reyes is compact and considered, with clean lines and warm materials that let the bakery counter do most of the talking. You can see the full operation from your seat, which is exactly the point.
The Coffee
The cortado is pulled tight and balanced, and the flat white follows the same logic without trying to be anything other than very well made. The Darjeeling black tea arrived properly brewed and tasted like someone in the kitchen actually decided which tea they were using.
The cortado arrived and it was immediately clear that someone here takes the extraction seriously.
The Vibe
A neighbourhood café that knows what it is and does not apologize for it, the kind of place that fills with regulars on a weekday morning and still feels genuinely welcoming when you walk in as a stranger.
The Verdict
The avocado toast from the in-house bakehouse is reason enough to arrive hungry, and the coffee programme gives you a reason to stay for a second cup. One of the clearest arguments for why this corner of Conde Duque is worth the detour.
