Hola Coffee Fourquet is the kind of place you could walk past without noticing, tucked into a quiet pocket of Lavapiés with a room small enough that seating is genuinely limited. The cortado and the latte were both excellent, aromatic with a real blueberry note running through them, and the banana bread paired with the latte better than expected. Staff are amiable and clearly coffee-focused, and the crowd has the same energy, the kind of room where everyone is there for the same reason.

The Space
The interior is small and tastefully done, inviting rather than cramped despite the very limited seating. This is the original Hola Coffee, opened in 2017 by Pablo Caballero, a Spanish Barista Champion, and Nolo Botana, both of whom cut their teeth at Toma Café before starting this one.
The Coffee
The cortado and the latte were both genuinely great, aromatic with a clear blueberry note coming through. The banana bread paired with the latte better than most pastry-and-coffee combinations manage.
The kind of cafe you could walk past twice before noticing it, which would be the real mistake.
The Vibe
Staff are amiable and coffee-centric, the kind of team that actually wants to talk about the beans. The crowd matches that energy, mostly people who are there specifically for the coffee.
The Verdict
This is an espresso pilgrimage stop, not a place to plan on camping out given how limited the seating is. Come for the cortado, stay for the banana bread, and do not expect to linger.
