The Steep Index
Coffee earns its score because ITSUKI COFFEE is a serious Hiroshima roaster and the Mazda Trans Blend reflects genuine craft rather than a branded afterthought. Atmosphere is the most interesting number on this card: a car showroom on one of Tokyo's best-looking streets that manages to work as a proper cafe room, especially on the second floor with sofas, charging ports, and a view over National Route 246. Solo scores reasonably well for the same reason, the second floor is genuinely usable for a longer sit. Value is fair by Minami-Aoyama standards. Staying power reflects a room that is comfortable without being a destination.

The Space
The cafe occupies the ground floor of Mazda's Aoyama lifestyle complex, with a counter and tables downstairs and a second-floor lounge fitted with sofas and charging ports that overlooks National Route 246. The second floor is the right floor.
The Coffee
The house coffee is the Mazda Trans Blend, sourced and roasted by ITSUKI COFFEE from Hiroshima, and it holds up better than the origin story might suggest. The hot sandwiches and red cheesecake are both properly made and worth ordering alongside it.

The Vibe
The clientele runs more Minami-Aoyama pedestrian than automotive enthusiast, which means the pace is slow and the room feels like a neighbourhood cafe that happens to have a concept car in the corner.

MAZDA TRANS AOYAMA is a better cafe than it has any obligation to be. The concept is a conversation starter; the second-floor lounge and the ITSUKI coffee are the reasons to come back.
