The Space
A compact room on the ground floor of the Manbundo Building in Nihonbashikodenmacho, built around the espresso counter with just enough seating to qualify as a sit-down cafe.
The Coffee
The espresso program is the reason to come, with clean, precise extraction from Kojima Roast Works beans and a short menu of espresso-based drinks that does not overreach. The affogato is exactly what it should be and worth ordering specifically.

The Vibe
Nihonbashi is office territory and the clientele reflects it: purposeful visits, short stays, people who know what they want before they walk in. The pace is quick and the coffee makes it worth it.
The Verdict
nexpect coffee is not a place to settle in for the afternoon, but it is a place to get a genuinely good espresso in a part of Tokyo that does not have many of them. Worth the detour if you are already in Nihonbashi.
