The Space
Single O's fourth and largest Tokyo location sits on the third floor of the Waterras Tower in Kanda Awajicho. It sounds like an odd setting until you walk in and find a considered 50-seat room that is much warmer than the building lobby would suggest.
The Coffee
The espresso is clean and well-pulled, the Reservoir blend doing what a good house espresso should: give you something reliable and interesting at the same time. The wagyu burger is the other reason to come, and it is better than it has any right to be in a coffee shop.
Fifty seats on the third floor of an office tower, and the wagyu burger is what fills them.
The Vibe
No wifi keeps it quieter than you might expect for a room this size. A mix of Kanda office workers and people who made the trip specifically for it, and the room handles both without any awkwardness.
The Verdict
Come for the brunch and you will not be disappointed. The espresso will bring you back for everything else.
