Tasse Coffee Roastery hides on a quiet street just off the noise of Takadanobaba, small and minimalist, natural light doing most of the design work. Good cafes are genuinely hard to find in this neighbourhood, which makes this one worth seeking out.
The Coffee
The iced latte, taken as takeout, was quite flavorful, and the pour-overs on a return visit were balanced and aromatic, real evidence of a roastery that knows what it is doing. Coffee quality here punches well above what the small counter suggests.
