VINOMONDO spreads across several floors just steps from Eitaibashi bridge, a standing counter for a quick coffee or glass of wine on the ground floor and proper table seating with al fresco terrace seats one flight up. The upper floors open onto a wide view of the Sumida River, with Tokyo Skytree rising in the distance.
The Pour
The coffee is roasted at the team's own dedicated roastery elsewhere in the city, and it shows, especially paired with a warm slice of banana bread. The wine list leans hard into Italy, courtesy of an in-house importer, with a selection that goes well past the usual bottles you see poured by the glass in Tokyo.
