BONDI COFFEE SANDWICHES sits in a small storefront in Tomigaya, with a compact room and terrace seating that still manages to feel inviting rather than cramped. It has real character for its size.
The Coffee
The iced latte was a genuine letdown on a first visit, unbalanced and lacking any real coffee flavor once the milk took over. The brunch more than makes up for it, the Croque Monsieur and an iced fusion tea on a return visit both delivered without a single complaint.
Come for the brunch. Do not order the coffee.
The Vibe
Staff are friendly and the small room is genuinely inviting, working just as well solo as it does with company. It is the kind of place that earns a return visit for the food alone.
