The bread and the avocado toast are the reason to come to this Roppongi Hills bakery cafe. The cappuccino is not.
The Steep Index
Bricolage bread & co. is a genuine bakery first, with excellent bread and an avocado toast worth the trip on its own, set inside a bright room with plenty of indoor tables and a real outdoor terrace for people watching. The atmosphere is a real draw, popular with both Roppongi locals and tourists passing through Keyakizaka Terrace, and it is a good spot to sit alone for a while. The coffee let the visit down though, both the cappuccino and the cafe latte came out watered down and tasted like little more than milk, with no real effort behind the shots.

The Space
Set inside Keyakizaka Terrace in Roppongi Hills, the room is bright and busy with plenty of indoor seating plus a genuine outdoor terrace, and it draws a steady mix of Roppongi locals and tourists. It is a good spot to sit alone for a while and watch the street, though weekends bring a real crowd.
The Coffee
The bread itself is excellent, and the avocado toast is flavorful enough to be the actual reason to visit. The espresso drinks are the letdown, both the cappuccino and the cafe latte came through watered down and tasted like little more than milk, a surprise given the coffee program here is run by the manager of Fuglen Tokyo.
The bread and the toast do the work here. The coffee does not.
The Vibe
It is genuinely popular, drawing both neighborhood regulars and visitors to Roppongi Hills, and it works well as a solo stop to sit and watch people go by. Just expect a real queue if you show up on a weekend.
The Verdict
Come for the bread and the avocado toast, both are worth the trip on their own. Order something other than the coffee, and go on a weekday if you can.
