Little Pool Coffee sits quietly on a side street in Minami-Aoyama, easy to walk past and easy to fall for once you are inside. The room is cozy and relaxed, the kind of hidden gem this famously polished neighbourhood does not offer often.
The Coffee
The coffee here is decent, nothing that demands a special trip on its own. The real reason to come is the omurice, layers of soft, fluffy egg stacked over rice, worth ordering even if you only planned on a coffee.
The coffee is fine. The omurice is the real reason to sit down.
The Vibe
Staff are friendly and the room stays unhurried, a genuinely good spot to sit alone and watch Omotesando go by outside. Takeout is available too, for anyone in more of a hurry than the room asks for.

Little Pool Coffee is not chasing a reputation for its espresso, and it does not need to. Come for the omurice, stay for the quiet.
