Cafes and bars in Asakusabashi, Tokyo

A quiet stretch of Taito under the elevated tracks by Asakusabashi Station, three specialty shops deep within a week of each other and still filling in. A brand-new matcha and coffee counter built around slabs of stone anchors one end of the block, an owner-run roastery with about six seats sits two minutes away, and an Ethiopia-only roaster tucked under the rail arch itself pours Karamo and Geisha lots most of Tokyo doesn't carry. None of these existed a month ago, and station-side Asakusabashi was not a coffee destination before them.
