A short walk through Yebisu Garden Place itself, the old brewery grounds the neighbourhood takes its name from. Crowded and loud on weekends, quieter earlier in the day.

A minimalist stand sharing its room with a tattoo studio next door. Order the cortado without high expectations and talk to the owner instead.

Come back after dark. The espresso counter out front is real, but it is not the destination — the password and the speakeasy are through the door behind it. Reservation required, booked through a riddle on the venue's own site.
