Communita Café
Meguro · Tokyo · Steep Index 8.1/10

The public cafe inside Impact HUB Tokyo, in a converted print factory with room to spread out and plenty of people worth talking to.
The Steep Index
Atmosphere leads, a relaxed, casual room full of people at work and space for anyone to sit. The food and latte were good rather than a draw, and the cafe wifi is limited to about two hours.

The Space
Communita Café is the public cafe inside Impact HUB Tokyo, a coworking space for entrepreneurs and creatives, on the ground floor of an old print factory. Only members can use the coworking floor, but the cafe has plenty of room to hang out.
The Coffee
I had the quiche plate, which was good, and a latte. The cafe wifi is limited to about two hours, so plan on a long chat, not a long work session.
You come for the people as much as the coffee.
The Vibe
The mood is relaxed and super casual, with a lot of people working in the coworking space around you. It is a great place to meet interesting people.
The Verdict
Come to sit, eat and talk with the community that fills the place, not to work on a laptop. It is a unique stop in Meguro, and it is shut on Mondays and Tuesdays.
