Coffee Concrete
Downtown St. Petersburg · St. Petersburg · Steep Index 8.7/10 · Steep Pick

A big, funky coffee bar inside a concrete design studio in the Warehouse Arts District, with a backyard patio and a latte worth the trip.
The Steep Index
Atmosphere leads on the art, the concrete and a room that is happy being chaotic, with the latte close behind. Solo sits lower because it is lively more than quiet, and value stays neutral with no price to judge by.
- Coffee / Drink Quality: 9.1/10
- Atmosphere: 9.4/10
- Solo-Friendliness: 8.2/10
- Value: 8.3/10
- Staying Power: 8.7/10
- Overall: 8.7/10
Perfect for: espresso pilgrimage, impressing someone
The Space
Coffee Concrete sits inside the Form43 concrete design studio in the Warehouse Arts District, and the interior is spacious, funky and a little chaotic. Out back there is an airy patio, and on my visit a Land Rover SUV was parked inside as a display, which the staff said rotates.
The Coffee
I had the breakfast sandwich with a hot latte. The scrambled egg sandwich was scrumptious, and the latte was nicely extracted and really good, one of the better ones I have had in St. Petersburg. The coffee is sourced from Bandit Coffee Co.
Concrete, art and a Land Rover. The latte holds its own.
The Vibe
Vibey, artsy and chaotic, in a good way. The staff were very friendly and told me the place is a collaboration between Form43 and Sugar Baby.
The Verdict
A one-of-a-kind room with a latte to match, and one of my favorite cafes in St. Petersburg. Order the latte with the scrambled egg sandwich and take it out to the patio.
